Steel castings from carbon and alloy steels made through investment casting have Precision Class 5-8, can be manufactured in any shape, and weigh from a few grams to 40 kg. The dimensions of the cast element are fitted as close as possible to the parameters of the part, which simplifies its mechanical polishing. Quite often, the accuracy of manufacturing is so high that no mechanical working is required at all.
